Health Fact: Breastfeeding Makes Babies Smarter!

 

 New research indicated that breastfeeding  increases IQ.  Previous studies have aserted this claim but have been criticiced for not controling for variable such as socio-economics and  maternal IQ. 
In this new study of 3,000 children, a gene that is found in 90% of the population produces an enzyme which allows the fatty acids present in breast milk to accumulate in the human brain during the first months after birth and increase IQ  scores 6.8 points.
